Mike Fleming- Creative
Director; West Coast Video Productions,
Mr. Fleming has 30 years experience in Live Event Teleproduction
and Post-Production. He has successfully produced programs requiring
International travel as well as multi-city domestic projects. His
clients include Fortune 500 companies such as Target Corporation and
Hewlett Packard, Non- Profits and Government Agencies like EPA and
The National Park Service. He has directed prominent leaders of business,
entertainment and government in both studio and location productions.
Over the years Mr. Fleming has been an innovator and leader in both
the local and national video community. He has presented at several
National Video Conferences and has taught video production and post-production
for the past 10 years. One of his specialties is the ability to build
a strong production team that is specially suited to the project.
Additionally Mike has strong connections in the music community,
having recorded and played professionally in the San Francisco Bay
Area for many years. He is the principal of westcoastmusicians.com
offering a full range of Music Publishing services to artists. His
involvement in CD and Music production has been of great assistance
to many Bay Area artists. Currently he is the host of Open Mic Talent
Showcase at The Canvas, one of San Francisco’s most successful
new Live Music Venues.

Cynthia Zeiden-
Distribution Producer; Zeiden Media,
Cynthia is a National Trustee and Activities/Programs Chair for the
National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, and Past President
of the San Francisco/Northern California Chapter. Cynthia manages
marketing and distribution for many public television programs including,
"Tommy Tang's Let's Get Cooking," "IPO: Investing Pays
Off," "NETworth: Use the Net, Increase Your Worth,"
"High Tech Home," "Digital Journey" and many others.
She was the Program Manager at KCSM-TV, a PBS station in San Mateo,
CA (1995-1999) and the Director of Broadcast Operations at WYCC-TV,
a PBS station in Chicago (1992-1995).

Allen Lam-
Audio Engineer/ Sound Designer; dba Allen Lam / Professional Audio
Music and sound are Allen Lam’s passion. As staff engineer
at Mill Valley’s world famous Sweetwater, and Berkeley’s
Freight and Salvage (the oldest continually operating folk club west
of the Mississippi), Mr. Lam works regularly with the world’s
most respected musicians, as well as new artists at those venues’
Open Mics. High production values are the hallmark of his work and
that is why he was selected as the Chief Sound Engineer for San Francisco’s
annual Festival of Harps, as well as the S.F. World Music Festival
in 2001, both featuring unique acoustic instruments from around the
world.
Mr. Lam has written articles for "Onstage" magazine, including
the definitive study on techniques of amplifying acoustic stringed
instruments to maintain their natural timbre. Much of his time is
spent engineering performances for artists in the areas of folk and
world music, jazz and swing, gospel and choral, as well as rock and
pop. Recently he completed Sound Reinforcement Engineering for the
production of a new musical, "My Gypsy". Past achievements
include Resident Sound Designer at Oakland Ensemble Theatre, as well
as designing production facilities for O.E.T and A.C.T Theatre in
San Francisco. Additionally he has designed and installed audio facilities
for on-line and off-line video editing suites.

Jeff Belbey-
Technology Integrator; Belbey Technical Services
Mr. Belbey has a unique combination of talents in multi-media, video
production and music. In the 1980s, he worked on many NYU Graduate
Film School projects including the Merit Award Winner of the 1990
International Student Film Awards. In the early 1990s, he produced
several programs including projects for The Chesapeake Bay Outward
Bound Program, The Nature Conservancy and The Natural Resources Defense
Council. He also produced videos for the Yale School of Forestry and
Environmental Studies and the City of Baltimore Department of Recreation
and Parks, (Urban Resources Initiative).
Upon returning to California in the mid 1990's, he studied Information
and Multimedia Technology at Mira Costa College, San Diego, leading
to the position of Lead Technical Support Engineer at Macromedia Inc.,
the leading Web development software company in San Francisco. He
is accomplished in a wide variety of web and multi-media development
software including Flash, Dreamweaver, Authorware, Coldfusion, Fireworks,
and Adobe Premier.
Jeff is also an accomplished musician as well as a successful Music
Event Promoter, having just produced San Francisco’s "Best
of the Open Mics" show.

Helynna Brooke- Business
Manager; the Brooke Company
Helynna Brooke brings excellent adminstrative talents to Open
Mic Showcase. As Executive Director of San Francisco's Mental
Health Board she has led a team which created a landmark training
program for SFPD in dealing with mental illness. This program led
to California State Law being passed so that all communities in California
will have advantage of this training. Prior to this position, Ms.
Brooke led the effort to build a supportive housing model for Glide
Community Development and was successful in raising over $10 million
to create this landmark development.
Ms. Brooke's experience includes legal work for a National Bank and
she is an active board member on the GEDC which is currently developing
a major real estate project in downtown San Francisco in partnership
with Hilton Hotels. She also has launched her own successful internet
sales company. Helynna is very active in local and statewide political
groups giving her unique access to leaders in all walks of life.
